i saw the movie but its killing me whether or not they actually do get together in the end...they better!! hehe

they leave it to your imagination. so go ahed and imagine whatever ending you like and learn the lesson from it too.

No they don't. I hated it! But it made me realize that I need to do the same. I was sort of in the same situation, but I kept getting back together with the guy. Not this time though! I do wish they would have gotten back together in the movie though.

No. They actually test-screened two endings, one with them getting back together and one with them splitting up and the test audiences hated both of them. They decided to stick with the two of them being split up for the final release. Either way I hear it makes no difference to save an average romantic comedy.
