I'm off to Brixton Academy on the 17th of June to see Tiesto live and was just wondering whether I should have a drink before the show if the drinks in Brixton Academy are overpriced.

hi- i took my teens to see avril lavigne at the academy a few yr ago- and i dont think the prices were any different than portsmouth pyramids or southampton guildhall. a little more than pub prices maybe -but not way over the top.
me and my husband went shopping in brixton high street, and i think it only fair to warn you- if you are not from the area- it stand out!! but the high street is fantastic....i loved the place.my husband was cr****g himself! he was glad to see the moterway home.

Hiya! My boyfriend and I went to see Avril Lavigne a few years back, and we paid £4.50 per drink... if we'd have realised, we'd have drunk beforehand. Great concert though!
