If you don't have too many friends there then you might get kinda lost & bored.Try downtown or roam around the other parts of the bay.There's a magazine called "Metro" you can pick up just about anywhere in San Jose-it has most the info you'll want.

we used to drag the main up and down santa clara st and also back and forth on first st. turn around at Mel's diner on east end of santa clara st and drive west to the AW root beer in santa clara. stop at each and have a drive up waitress serve your car door. flirt with the girls in other cars. get one to get in your car and go out to the orchards at east and north ends of city to neck.
go to drive in movie out north first st or to dances at the national guard armory near agnew. alway looking for a place to get drunk and somebody to get booze and some chick to dance with or neck with. good fun. Of course that was back in the early sixties
(sort of like in the movie "American Graffitti") sometimes we would sneak into college parties but always got tossed out.

But i suppose now you just roll a drunk and use the money to buy some smack off the dealer by the church and get stoned then puke and pass out on a park bench until the cops come and beat you up. not as much fun now. or you can go to a mall and eat mongilian beef and see a movie. the night clubs are nitemare clubs where you get ripped off and possibly mugged. stay home and rent a movie.
