Where is the starter on a Honda Shadow Sabre 1100?

Always give "year", make, engine size and
"model # (ex. VT1100C2)" when asking technical questions. The starter motor is on top of the crankcase behind the rear cylinder.

I think on top of the engine, between the cylinders. Silver round thing with a wire or two on the back of it.

the starter is on the bottom back in the motor, should be on the right side if you are sitting on the bike.
