I love it its one of my favourites, it isnot an original though its a remake of a 1940'2 movie "Death Takes A Holiday".
It made me think on many different levels for weeks after i watched it. Also how sad and lonely it would be to be death and evoked so many emotions in me. The peanut butter thing was fabulous.

Later, Death itself enters his home and his life, personified in a man's body: Joe Black has arrived. His intention was to take Bill with him, but accidentally, Joe's former host and Bills beautiful daughter Susan have already met. Joe begins to develop certain interest in life on earth as well as in Susan, who has no clue who she's flirting with.

Wealthy media tycoon William Parrish (Hopkins) leads a charmed existence until Death (Pitt) comes calling with an extraordinary proposition - he'll delay Bill's imminent demise in exchange for a tour of life. Innocent, enigmatic and often hilarious, Joe (Pitt) disrupts Bill's world of privilege and corporate intrigue. But when he falls for Bill's beautiful daughter (Claire Forlani), Joe threatens to change the rules. Now Bill must fight not for his future, but for those he loves in this bittersweet tale of life and death."

I thought it was a really sweet love story.
It was well acted & the story was well thought out.
I am not really a fan of Brad Pitt but he was great in this. And he looked amazing.
This is a film that you could watch over & over & never get bored of. Well worth a look.

I loved it. Brad Pitt is a physically beautiful man. The love scenes were very sexy, and he looked awesome. I was also impressed yet again at his skill with different accents (with the Jamaican lady in the hospital).

I watched it ages ago and remember it as being OK. What I remember most from watching it was that my brothers thought the bit where Brad Pitt gets hit by cars is hilarious to watch and they kept rewinding it so they could watch it over and over again!

I've seen this. It brought out strange emotions. You wanted to dislike Pitt's charactor, but at the same time you wanted to like him too. I thought it was one of his best roles. Anthony Hopkins was also great.

i really enjoyed it and even bought it on vhs when it was released. i found it heartbreaking and heartwarming at the end when her dad dies but she gets his life back for a second chance. I also found i felt sorry for death because it never gets that relationship with others.
Having Brad in it helped it along too!!!
