Everytime I turn on my PC, Windows Defender detects KaZaA. It states as a medium threat virus. I follow the instructions to remove it, but it keeps on reappearing everytime i turn on my PC. It's quite irritating. Please help.

First go to the control panel and make sure that its has been removed safely using the ADD/REMOVE programs feature.
Go to Start Menu, click RUN.
Type msconfig and hit enter.
You should see a pop up box.
Go to Startup tab and uncheck all the programs that you do not want on your start up.
This will prevent those programs from starting up when you restart windows.
Do a search for kazaa and the virus files on your computer and then delete them.
Click on start Menu, then click on RUN.
Type regedit and then hit enter.
This will bring up your registration keys.
You will need to find the directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and then click on Software and find kazaa, and delete them too.

Click on Start, go to Control Panel, go to Add/Remove Programs list and select Kazaa, P2P networking and related softwares one-by-one, then remove each software by clicking Remove. Once u installed all the softwares linked with Kazaa. Restart ur computer. After restarting, run a full system scan by Windows Defender. After that, visit http://safety.live.com and run a Full Service Scan to identify any other viruses on ur system.
(Note: Windows defender is onli for spywares but Live One Care is for every possible threat including trojans, viruses, spywares etc.) If any threat is detected, follow the instructions. It will ask u to click "Next" to remove that threat. I personally use Windows Defender and it removes every spyware. Please dont download programs such as Kazaa etc. If u need some other software for the same purpose, u better download Bit Comet (www.bitcomet.com) Its safe and easy. Once u download and install BitComet, visit www.torrentspy.com and search anything that u want to download.

Run virus scan & when it detects kazaa, lock it in the virus vault.

go to "run" and type in msconfig and remove it from your startup then delete the files from your computer
