If you have seen ally Mcbeal then u will know all about richards fishisms, but what i dont understand is when he says bygone. What does he mean by that? I looked it up at wikipedia, but nothing came up... could u please help me?

"Bygones" is his way of excusing himself for any past (however recent) bad behavior. He is saying, forget it, don't dwell in the past. But he is always misbehaving or offending people! The saying really is, "Let bygones be bygones."

He is basically apologising for his behaviour without actually sayintg sorry.
His behaviour is in the past basically. He feels this excuses him from his acid tongue!
