Not all women do. Maybe you are just looking for the wrong type of girl versus a mature woman. Or maybe you are just not willing to have a decent enough job to provide a secure household. We are not talking rich, we are talikng bringing home a paycheck(s) that will take care of the bare essentials. Most women do want a guy with emotions, a sense of humor and intelligence. All that aside, if you are working in a fast food place, have a dead end job with no college or ambition to earn a degree or career advancement -- then they probably will feel that your low self-esteem/low ambition will not allow you to be a provider for even a basic standard of living! Even worse, you probably would become a detriment to their future financial security. Just ask yourself- why women are not attracted to you--it is not looks because I have seen the homeliest guys with gorgeous wives. I am middle class and am happy with being middle class because I take pride in earning every penny I make! Though I work very hard (do not have a big bank by any means), I provide my family with financial support and act as a good role model for when they become parents.

The women who want the rich man are usually very materialistic and don't care about emotion because there just using him. So they would prefer to not even be sexual with him if they dont have to. The loving and caring men are always the best way to go. You don't need alot of money to be happy.

Think about it in biological terms and it makes great sense. Women have a limited supply of eggs, and will produce an even more limited supply of offspring. The biological imperative for them is to find a partner who will provide the greatest chance of 1) healthy offspring, and 2) stability and the fulfillment of the greatest number and levels of various needs.
Finding a partner who will provide true stability and whose efforts will enable a woman and her offspring to fulfill higher-order needs will absolutely trump every other urge for a woman when she starts looking for a mate for the long haul. Money is nothing more than the capacity to provide stability and to meet needs. The more money, the higher the order of needs that can be met. A guy with no savings and who earns $45,000 a year might be able to provide basic needs like shelter and food, but certainly won't be able to meet higher-order needs. A guy who has $2.2 Million in various holdings and who earns $320,000 a year can meet a LOT of higher-order needs, and thus is a far, far, far more attractive partner.

thats not true. i've been engaged to a really wealthy man but i left him cuz i didnt love him. n now im with a normal guy.
maybe we r attracted to them in the beginning, not necessarily cuz they are rich, but maybe they have better manners, more education, n speak using cleaner language than the average joe.
also women do think about the future n children etc, n they envisage a brighter economical future for their children.
there r the nice women who r genuinely looking for love, n happen to find it with a wealthy man.
then there r the inbetweens who want the security.
then there r the b*tch*s who just want the money n lifestyle.
u cant generalize like that

Because women want to feel protected and a wealthy man can provide for her in ways a poorer man could not. But often she later realizes that the money is not enough if that was all that was there originally and there is no growth in the relationship.

Well then most females are not like me at all then ehhehehe.... I would rather have a little less money and alot more caring and love and time with my husband! Money and stuff fades and you cant take it with you when you die. Loving and caring is the key to a great marriage!

It seems so because we are living in a very materialistic world. Many women really do believe that money will buy happiness but unfortunately they will face pretty quickly the deception that the love of money can and will bring. A combination of both helps bring happiness in life.

I think its the shallow women who choose money over true love. Its actually amazing how materialistic some women can be. Of course marrying a bum with no ambitions or goals in life wouldn't be my pick of the litter, but choosing a guy based solely on the size of his bank account is rather sad.
