Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law.
I have learned a great deal from you, and I try to share that knowledge
with as many people as I can.
I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other specific
Biblical laws and how to follow them.

a) When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a
pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev. 1:9). The problem is my neighbors.
They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

b) I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in
Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price
for her?

c) I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her
period of menstrual uncleanness (Lev.15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell?
I have tried asking, but most women take offense. If I come into contact with
a woman who is menstruating and she doesn't tell me until afterwards, must I
kill her immediately or can I just beat her?

d) Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female,
provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims
that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify?
Why can't I own Canadians?

e) I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2
clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill
him myself? Also, is Sabbath on Saturday as Seventh Day Adventists
(Christians, like us...or are they?) or is it on Sunday as Baptists and
some other faiths agree? I am beset by not knowing who to kill and when
to kill them...please clarify this for me.

f) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination
(Lev. 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality (Lev. 18:22).
I don't agree. I'm also confused about how homosexuality can be an abomination
when Jonathan and David were married in the Bible (1 Samuel 18:1, 3 - 4).
Here, I'll quote it - "And it came to pass, when he had made an end of
speaking unto Saul that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David
and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. Then Jonathan and David made a
covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan stripped himself
of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even
to his sword and to his bow and to his girdle." and also Ruth's relationship
with Naomi is suspect, (Ruth 1:16-17) "And Ruth said to Naomi, Entreat me not
to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest,
I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people,
and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried:
the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part three and me.
" Can you settle this?

g) Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a
defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my
vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

h) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around
their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev.19:27 and even
though 1st Cor. 11:4-6 says that it is a shame upon a man to have long hair.
How should they die?

i) I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me
unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves? Also, since it is
strictly forbidden to "eat neither fat nor blood" in Lev. 3:17 & Lev. 19:26,
does that mean that I must be a vegetarian and must I smite those who choose
to eat meat?

j) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different
crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two
different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse
and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of
getting the whole town together to stone them (Lev.24:10-16)? Couldn't we just
burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep
with their in-laws (Lev. 20:14)?

k) I know that it is an abomination for a man to wear a woman's clothes or a
woman to wear a man's (Deut. 22:5), so does that mean that since my wife
borrowed my boxers once, she's going to hell?

l) An unbeliever sent me an email telling me that God is an ABORTIONIST? It
says, "In Num. 5:11-31, God commands a husband to get an abortion for his wife
if he suspects she has been impregnated by another man. A priest is to make her
drink a potion and tell her, "If any man other than your husband has had
intercourse with you, may the LORD make an example of you . . . by bringing
upon you miscarriage and untimely birth." To deliberately cause a miscarriage
is to perform an abortion. And who brings about this miscarriage? Who performs
this abortion? It is the LORD who does so. God is an abortionist. In Ex. 21:22-25,
God tells us what to do if a man who is fighting knocks against a pregnant woman.
If the woman dies, the principle of "life for life" is invoked and the man
responsible for her death must be killed. If she lives but has a miscarriage,
then the death of the fetus is to be compensated for by the payment of a fine,
as demanded by the woman's husband. Thus, God has revealed the status of the
unborn fetus: it is not an independent, full-fledged human life, whose
destruction amounts to murder. It is a thing owned by the woman's husband, a
thing whose loss, like that of any other thing, may be compensated for with
money." How can this be true?

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can
help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and
unchanging and also for the reassurance that the Bible is infallible.

God has never said anything to you or me. I don't need to look anything up in the bible because I can think for myself. I know the difference between right and wrong because I am a good person with a big heart. I also know that it is a sin to judge others if you want to talk about the bible.

Yeah, gays and lesbians have put the world in turmoil because the world is so loving and peaceful, otherwise. Are you new?

By the way, you can't even spell Genesis. It doesn't seem like you are even paying attention to what you are reading.

The Bible is just one creation account and not neccesarily correct. There is no scientific evidence to substatiate its claims and quite a bit to disprove some of its claims. I think you are ignorant about many things in your religion. For example many scholars believe that King David had a love affair with Saul's son and their relationship is exualted in the bible. As far as the new testament goes Jesus never says anything about homosexuality. And in the old testment in the part of Exodus and Leviticus where God makes a direct reference to homosexulaity God also advocates owning slaves and and beating them or your servants. This is no longer practiced (at least in most parts of the world). Your arguement's logical implication here is that the world has gone to hell because this is no longer practiced either, yet the vast majority of people (straight or gay) would disagree with you on this point. If you are going to oppose gays at least come up with some real world logic that isn't this shaky.

Dear, Peace be upon you. In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. You are asking "Who was first created: Man or Woman?". This not to be lengthy. Straight to the point. The answer is "MAN". Man was first created by Al-Mighty God Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. The name of the man is "ADAM." To Proof: In Al-Qur'an Surah 2. "Al-Baqarah - THE COW. Verses: 30 - 39 Bismillahhirrahmannir Rahim. SURAH 2 : 30 -31. WHEN YOUR LORD SAID TO THE ANGELS: I AM PLACING ON THE EARTH ONE THAT SHALL BE MY DEPUTY," THEY REPLIED: "WILL YOU PUT THERE ONE THAT WILL DO EVIL AND SHED BLOOD, WHEN WE HAVE FOR SO LONG SUNG YOUR PRAISE AND SANCTIFIED YOUR NAME?" HE SAID: " I KNOW WHAT YOU NOT KNOW." HE TAUGHT ADAM THE NAMES OF ALL THINGS AND THEN SET THEM BEFORE THE ANGELS, SAYING: "TELL ME THE NAMES OF THESE, IF WHAT YOU SAY BE TRUE." Sodakallahhul'azeem. Later, Al-Mighty God Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala created Eve (Hawa r.a., Adam's mate) from left rib of Adam , while Adam was sleeping. Wabillahhitaufiq Walhidayah Wassalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahhi Wabarakatuh.

Why are you straight? Do you choose to be straight? Are you straight because you are normal? Well so are we, we are all normal and being different one from another is normal.

Sexual orientation is not something you are converted to or a choice. It is just something that a person is.

God made man in his own image, male and female and then 4 chapters later he made woman. So Adam had both elements and woman came out of man. So therefore it is normal for men and women to have desires for each other and their own sex because we are all bisexual just by different degrees.

Becasue thats wht you've been told and everyone has fallen for those fictious beliefs from chritianity. With this type of mindset, that god created women to help men, women will always stay down in society. The belief that u just stated and millions of others will always keep men above women.

Do you ever wonder if you really have a soulmate?
Do you ever wonder why there are gays and lesbians?
Don't you ever wonder why some people love their same sex?
Do you ever wonder why some people love their opposite sex?
And do you ever wonder why these love are indestructible?
Why do most people seem to cannot live without someone to love?
And finally, why is it that people do not know what they have until it is gone?

Let me tell you about the Myth of Love...
It was said that before, in the origin of times, there were three sexes; male, female, and androgene.
Original humans do not look like how we humans look today.
Humans before were said to be twice of each person now, with two heads, two pairs of eyes, a pair of lips, four hands, four feet, two bodies, two hearts, and of course two genitals.
Then, if the person has two vaginas, that is a female. If the
person has two penis, that is a male person. If the person has both the two different organs, a vagina and a penis, then that person is an androgene.
They said that androgenes were the most beautiful people among all because they have mostly the best features and characteristics of both the male and the female.
Because these people dream of being in heaven, even if they
already have the heavens in their selves, they want to experience it even for just a little while. And so they climbed to Mount Olympus.Zeus got furious upon seeing the people going up the mountain. He said, "How dare these immortals climb our
wondrous world? And to think I'd let them experience it! Especially now that they do not cherish of what they have!!!" He got so mad that he used his lightning bolts to cut each person in half to make them weaker enough so as not to continue on climbing.
The God of Healers healed the wounds of the people cut in half.
And from then on, everyone started to look out for their pair the moment they got down from the mountains.
This is why there is the term "soulmates" born. Their bodies, in which their souls rest, used to be one. Therefore they are soulmates.
They said that this is also the reason why there are people who
love their same sex, the gays and lesbians. They are the males and females before.
And this also explains why gays are creative, because they are both males before, they tend to concentrate on what they lack. The same thing for lesbians, because they are both females before, they tend to be strong as not to be underestimated.
Androgenes would be equal to male and female lovers. That is why nowadays these couples are the most acceptable, stronger, and the most beautiful among all partners, they have the strength of both males and females.
Lovers nowadays, whether gay, lesbian, or male and female couples, are indestructible because they are the pairs before. They are really meant to be.
This myth also explains why it is natural for people to just realize
the value of the people they love only when they are about to be
gone or are already gone. Because this happened even before, and we become weaker without our pair. We realize that we need them, truly love them, and that >together, we are stronger.

This is also why we kiss. We always try to find the lips wherein
ours will fit well.
This is also why we like to hold hands with the one we love, to
find out if the spaces between their fingers are the spaces where ours used to lay.

And finally, this is why we always find someone to love. We always want to complete ourselves... Because we need the strength of the one we love in order to go on with the hardships of life... we need to fill in a missing space... and most of all, because we used to have two hearts. We need to find the other one.

God also commanded us to love our neighbors as ourselves. He also said not to judge. I think that you are doing some selective reading. By the way, I'm straight and I wish that you would put your efforts into something more positive. Let's hope that God is more compassionate and shows more mercy than you.

And if you read further, there is a mention of "the natural use of a woman", like women are toilets to dump a load of nut into.

(The bible was written by misogynists).

Said kindly, this wasn't really a question, it was a soapbox.

Expressing yourself this way will not encourage discussion and communication, it'll drive people further away from your viewpoint.

Why not just ask them why they think it's okay in light of this verse, or where they're coming from in general?
