Do you think that Iran vs. Mexico was a fair game? I think Mexico is a good team but they sort of *faked* the fouls. Like whenever they were on Irans side of the field, they always tried to cause a foul to score or get a penalty. I think Iran played fair but not Mexico. Iran was so polite they even gave flowers to the goalkeeper at the begginning of the game. I think Iran deserved it. They played fair, hard and tried to avoid fouls which were caused.

Ya, I felt sorry for him after his dad past away its really hard to concentrate that way. Nothing bad on him. But truly, they faked the fouls.

I agree with you. Mexico was focusing a little too much on getting the fouls and the right calls instead of actually playing the game. You could tell that if they fell they would kinda stay down a little longer just to see if the ref would call it. Maybe I'm over exaggerating or I over-analyzed the game, but it seemed to me like Mexico was doing that on purpose. And I thought only 10 year olds did that...

i agree then i disagree. mexico is not the only ones that try to get a foul. USA is the ones that are desperate to get fouls because they are cheaters and think there better than anybody else.mexico wanted to win. its not there fault that the iran team didn't try hard enough. iran would had done the same thing if they cared about the game

Iran are rubbish, Mexico had a penalty not given, i dont know what game you were watching but iran played poor and they just their to make up the numbers. Mexico are not that good either they wont get far. Irans goal was a fluke a stupid mistake by the keeper

They might have *faked* the fouls but THEY WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways soccer isn't about being polite! Kay? It's about winning. They play for their country so they want to give their all. They didn't fake all of the fouls. And the difference between winning a game and deserving it is that the winners deserved the game as much as the other teams but they actually workes their *** off to win!!!Iran didn't avoid fouls because they were the ones causing the fouls! Iran might have played fair but, so did Mexico and MEXICO WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well yea if u wanna be realistic ur gonna say ok, does it matter who played fair?? mexico won 3 to 1. but if u wanna look at it closer and fairly, u see these stuff r things that make the game and determine the results...
iran played really well particularly in the first half, very nice and fair, but unfortunately the results were the important issue...
i was really sorry that iran lost the game(its mainly because im iranian myself!!) and i wish them luck for its other games...

fair isnt a thing that is always accepted by other nations unfortunately..
world cup = life for alot of nations.. if you never heard, i forget what world cup it was, but a frenchmen missed a PK that cost france a game, and when he returned home, he was shot and killed..
soo yea, players are going to play for keeps, and "flopping" as you are describing has become too often of an occurance in all games, i think it needs to be taken care of
otherwise, it was a fair game, Mexico capitolized on a couple Iran mistakes

Referees were supposed to call diving, but it's obvious some countries are better at it than others.

Soccer players, no offense intended to fans, seem to be some of the biggest whiners ever created. Every one of them seems ready at a moment's notice to look for a call from the referee when they're even breathed on. I thought NFL wide receivers and NBA players were bad about looking for a call until I saw soccer players do it. It's getting to be an art form.
