I'd say get in touch with your local travel agent. I just bought tickets to Madrid from Buffalo and back for 1002.00. Also if you could shorten your stay to under 30 days it will help with the price. I tried all kinds of internet travel sites and still got a better deal through the local travel agent. They have the ability to check for available seats and since the departure date is close. flights with more available seats will go for a cheaper rate.

Try finding inexpensive US to London flights, then try EASYJET.com or RYANAIR.com for your flight London to Madrid or Valencia...these are the most economical companies.
