Sounds like you were very young when you charged with a felony. Most employers will look at your record and the changes you have made in your life since you were charged.
College is a good place to show that you have turned over a new leaf. It will also give you more marketable skills. You've paid your dues now you have to re-earn societies trust.
Lot's of people have picked themselves up after a brush with the law and carried on to success. Larry King, Clifford Irving, O Henry, Eugene Debbs etc.
Good luck

Yes i do, my mother has a masters degree, and she is an accountant. She had a felony, and actually spent two years in prison for DWI and assualt on a police officer. She turned her life around however and put her past behind her. You can do the same. Don't let people discourage your goals, or think its a waste of time and money due to a felony. You still have a chance, you'd be suprised at how many people over look your past when you have a degree in your hand. Go for it!! Good Luck!!

Improving yourself is never a waste of time or money. Many people have been convicted of felonies, served their time, and gone on with productive and honest lives. Prison is supposed to teach the value of maintaining a honest way of living. While it fails in that, it seems you had enough of the taste of no freedom to want to change yours. My advice. Do it? Or would you rather not and wish in later years that you had?

Do it! Think about how screwed you'll be if you have only a high school eduction and a felony vs. having a degree.
Obviously, having a felony will keep you from getting certain jobs but not all will be out of reach. Do it.

I don't mean to be cruel, but if that is really the best you can write you can't get into college. It really isn't even good enough to graduate from high school. If you did get through high school, the diploma is a lie. The best advice is learn a trade or to drive a truck - something where you can earn a living.
