I recently had my back lawn re-turfed and noticed that dock leaves have started to come through whilst the lawn is growing. Should I get rid of them and if so how do i do this without damaging my lawn.

Get at them while the docks are young and growing actively with a "paint on" weedkiller available from most garden caentres. Murphy's Tumbleweed is a good brand i've used. Don't use anything granular until the lawn is at least 3 months old.

sounds like a bad batch of turf. Call who installed it, they may be able to treat it.
