I'm going to need substantial proof befre I believe that our government murdered thousands of innocent people. With the conspiracies flying, I still can't get past flying planes into buildings. How could we get somebody to volunteer to kill themselves to start a war? You need a belief system that goes beyond death to get somebody to sacrifice their lives for anything, and I can't see our government gaining that type of power over anybody just to start a war.

Just the ones who exist on the lunatic fringe. There will always be a conspiracist who finds the weakest link and tries to exploit it to advance their delusions. I agree that our government was "asleep at the wheel", but to link them to the attacks is absolutely absurd. I challenge anyone to submit to me substantial proof of their claims that there was a conspiracy involving our government. But it's like asking a religious fanatic to prove the existence of their God. Damned X-Files junkies.

No, those people that say this happened will continue to be marginalized as ``conspiracy theorists´´ even though it is evident that some kind of conspiracy took place whether it be a terrorist cell or a shadow government or both acting in conjunction.
