Ho Chi Minh IS NOT the person that the history books have made him out to be. Not much is know of his early life because he and the communist government had done a great job in covering it all up. He killed thousands of Viets to get to his leadership position - just like Stalin. He was a feared man, and millions fled to South Vietnam to escape him and his communist regime.

Ho Chi Minh was a great man. What happened in Vietnam was a necessity for him, since he had been pleading for America's assistance for many years. When he finally turned to Communism for support, it was because it was his only viable option.
