Why do they say the most hottest female/male in the world?

HOW WOULD THEY KNOW WHO ARE THE HOTTEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD?? Like ET they have count downs of the most good looking people in the world how would they know they don't know everyone in the world???

That's just a few people who decide on that! A certain number of celebs are chosen and from that whoever is "hot" at the moment, they go and vote! it's pretty dumb because sometimes the "NUMBER 1" is hella ugly and skinny, like a stick!!!! ha ha ha ha!

It's just a way to sell.........it's always about the money. But I do have to admit, they are usually pretty much on target.
