Barbara Bush ear marked her million dollar investment to the fund to go to a son of hers. She also went on record saying that those living in the sports arena had never had it so good.

This is a multi-BILLION dollar effort, a few million dollars is like a drop in a bucket. Just the fact that there are roads open and dead things cleaned up is a huge effort, that alone can cost millions. The cost os repairing a few miles of freeway can cost a couple million dollars.

our town of 700 people got public water put in, and that alone took 1.5 years and cost nearly 3 million dollars.

Assuming that the government, or those in charge are some how profiteering from this catastrophe is not only disgusting but ignorant. Iam sure there has been mismanagement and misappropriated funds along the way, but that is what happens when an inexperienced government tries to rebuild from scratch, something that hasnt bee done in over 100 years.

Go volunteer or something, stop pointing fingers and complaining about a sincere goverment and cause. I have many friends working down there, and none of them have any complains about progress.
