ROFL! Yup, you're right - you won't see a liberal on this question because they can't admit the truth that everyone in the world thought he had them ... mainly because Saddam used them on his own population, and bragged to everyone that he had them.

And he did - we've found the "makings" and the "recipes". What else do you need??

The real problem people have isnt so much WHY we went to war, their problem is they cant take the time, money, and effort to see something through to the end. Esspecially when it gets messy and difficult.

War is war, theres nothing set in stone as to the way things break down, how long it will take, and what all there is to be done. Iraq, like any ancient country, is like a can of worms, no one can know what all is involved until you open it up.

As far as starting this war, I believe Bush believed there were weapons of mass distruction, and having a small window of opportunity to take out this OBVIOUS world danger, he did so.

There are many many other reasons why saddam and the old iraq should have been torn apart, but none of them were big enough to bring before the UN as reasonable cause to justify a war before the world forum.

In the begining there was no one balking at the thought of war, not until people started dying. This is what happens with those damn smelly hippies breed and take over the nation. Life isnt neat and pretty and lovely, its about protecting whats good, and fighting against whats wrong. Killing your own people is wrong, lying to the world about weapons is wrong, and refusing to work with UN officials and meet basic requests is wrong, as is harboring and funding world wide terrorism. The iraqi people have a right to life free of dictatorship, but they werent able to provide it by their own means. Thankfuly there was ONE nation willing to fight for their behalf.

It isnt the liberals or the conservatives that cause a problem, so much as people who like to point fingers and argue, and i have yet to see anyone avoid such a situation.

I'm an independent, but had to ask - Doesn't anyone else think it is just a little coincidental that a second rate dictator like Libya's Miramar Qaddafi(sp) just happened to turn in all the same equipment that Saddam was supposed to have? Gee, you don't suppose that he might have trucked the stuff next door to hide it do you? The liberals have to learn that making accusation after accusation, without solid evidence, totally discredits them in the eyes of most Americans. Especially, when they are on record as mistakenly believing the same false intelligence and approving going to war. As for John Kerry, I wouldn't hire him to walk my dog. Claiming to be a war hero when in fact he bailed and then joined Jane Fonda in betraying the troops still in combat. In the dictionary under the word hypocrite you should find his photo.

It is unfortunate that so much media attention plays on the mistakes and not the successes of the Iraq War. Our soldiers did not die in vane. The tyranny of their evil leader caused many many innocent people to be murdered. The slaughter of thousands of men, women and children.

This is one of many reasons we engaged in this war.

I can't say enough about how f**ked up the media and the liberal lunatics hand in hand tried to sway the opinion of the American public for political reasons. Though GW might not be the best president we've had. At least he did not lie in court about committing adultery in the house paid for by my taxes. THAT is an "in your face" character flaw exposed by the root of the antic. LIES LIES LIES.

By the way, if we don't watch out, Clinton part two will be knocking on the WH door. Keep the B**tch out of our house.

I wont throw mud...Because I totally agree with you...Ive said it before and I will say it again....alot of people "bash" our President...they are NEVER happy....when Clinton was in office the same thing happened....Iraq had WMD...Iran is their close ally...what makes us think that Saddam and his thugs and the thugs in Iran didn't "whisk" them out of Iraq and Iran has them? President Bush is NOT a liar.....Saddam Hussein should be shot for all the atrocities he has committed...

Not all liberals are mud slingers. I happen to be a liberal and I can see where you are coming from, I don't have to agree with it, but I don't need to place blame or sling mud (as you are doing by the way) to get my opinion across. How I see it...both sides have made terrible mistakes and this country is in awful shape because of it. Maybe we should all spend more time trying to fix it than just trying to figure out who is at fault :-)

All politicians are good liars, Bush is not the only one. I don't remember if Clinton said that, but at least he didn't make a move to conquer Iraq. Bush is different, he said it and do it. Now he wants more in Iran.

Liberals are hypocrites, and liars. Oh, a message to Cruts, Desert Storm was under the first Bush president, not Clinton.

Actually, Saddam DID have the WMD's and had them hidden in Lybia just before we invaded this time.

Saddam's only surviving general wrote a book explaining all of this and was interviewed on both Fox News and The Daily Show (so both extremes are covered).
