Weird sense of humor, lyrical wit, interesting musical complexity (His songs are not just simple rock songs; they use elements of jazz, classical, rock, electronic, etc) , great guitar at times (check out his instumentals)

It's hard to explain I just like his music and he has some pretty cool lyrics, I seen him live and he put on a great show .to bad he passed away.First Zappa question I've heard, I thought everybody forgot about him. Zappa R.I.P.

Not only does he have a lot of humorous and satirical lyrics, his music was totally awesome. I definitely think he was one of the best American composers of the 1900's. The man was a very good guitarist as well. Plus he gave a lot of upcoming musicians a shot at the big time(Like Steve Vai). Also, he had a good head on his shoulders and I loved how he fought censorship.
