I’m a Gemini, I have a Cancer relative. Can you help me?

My relative is very emotional and is always coming to me for comfort. I feel like I've done everything that I can and I feel bad because I find her irritating now. I don't want to hurt her feelings, but I just don't get why she can’t just get over things and move on. I will be the first to admit, now, lol, that I have a sort attention span and get bored very easily which is a Gemini trait, but come on. Do any of you Geminis out there have difficulty dealing with emotional Cancers or is it just me?

I'm just having some fun and looking for answers in other avenues, this doesn't run my life people, geesh, get over yourselves. BTW if its so stupid, why the h*ll are you on this section. I'm done now. :)

It's a classic: Cancer being emotional and needy and Gemini wanting freedom and space. Gemini is an intellectual sign and tends to live in the head. Cancer is a feelingoriented sign a tends to think with her heart. It's a difficult relationship and the only solution is accepting the differences and giving space to both of you. It sounds like this relative is running the relationship, you just follow. You have to talk to her about this and if she doesn't understand...well it sounds like YOU must move on.

Gemini & Cancer

The problem is, my intuitive one, that the Cancerinian sees your Gemini sparkle and is most intrigued and drawn to you by it for answers to problems that have no sparlkle. She is insecure and beause you unconsciously ADHD fly by night her, she feels she needs to keep coming back for more reassurance.

Cancerineans by nature are more emotional while sparkling Geminis more cerebral...thus there is a problem with bandwidths...she's an AM, while you're the FM on the cosmic radio dial in.

The bottom line is you guys will have a hard time understanding where the other comes from no speekie die language.

Cancerineans have a hard time adjusting to Gemini' playful, non-chalant attiude towards life, and can take things a bit too seriously, especially herself...She will try like hell to keep you hemmed in with her stuff...and we know you can't abide by that....

Show her some approval of some kind...they adore it....find something positive in her you can admire and throw it at her instead of that brick you wish you had in your hand.

OK...here's the biggy....ask her advice on one of your problems ....'n don't make it her....the other half of you could just make one up since your life is probably in complete order other than this trifle.

She will then fall over herself to lend some empathy and give you constructive advice you don't need....or maybe you will find you do....but the desired result is it takes the focus off her stuff, which is good for both of you and gives her something she inherently loves to do...a win... well... kinda win

The bad news is: as a true Cancerinian, she will always find something sooner or later to feel wounded by...they have a great memory and can recall old wounds down to the last detail....also a Cancerinean who can let go. forgive, and forget is as rare as a vegan snake...

I am Gemini and my 10 1/2 month older brother is Cancer we are now both 41 for 6 weeks out of this year and we fought as children and havent spoke since we have been adults we truly just don't like each other. it hurts but thats how it is, almost like I dont have a brother

cancers remember everything u say to them so if ur trying to get rid of ur relative just remember, they're not guna let it go so be careful. also cancers are suposed to be moody. i hav a sister who does that and altho i'm no gemini i feel the same way. but geminis dont usually get along with cancers or capricorns so ur not alone
