It may hit the ground first, your head first or both the ground and your head at the same time, , depending on its shape and limb configuration, and your head's position relative to the tree and the ground.
So, yes, you could but not necessarily would.

If a tree fell in the woods and landed on my head, I don't think I would hear anything I'd be dead, especially if it was a really big tree.

Probably not, but depending on the size of the tree you may have a chance to hear it hit the ground provided it doesn't crush your skull.

depends. if it was a little sapling then yes youd hear it. if it were a huge redwood and landed directly on top of you, then no. your scull would be crushed and you would be dead.
