I heard Ty Law might go with the Chiefs because he knows Herm Edwards from the Jets. Is this true?

Ty Law is definitely getting up there in age, but he's still better than any DB the Chiefs have. If they want a shot at going anywhere this year, I think they need to sign him, albeit at somewhat less than the outrageous amount he's asking for.
And in ref. to the above comment, how can you "hate" Dick Vermeil?? The guys like freaking Santa Claus or your grandpa or something. He seems like he's about the nicest old guy you could possibly meet.

I used to hate the Chiefs with a passion, and I would hope they never got good talent. But now, I dig 'em and I hope they get Ty Law to help them win the Bowl baby. I hated Dick Vermeil, but Herm Edwards is the man.

Ty Law would make a good addition there.
Herm as a 1st year coach there he really has no say over contacts. $$$$

I am not sure that there is anyone that thinks he will go anywhere else. It seems to be the only place he will go. No one wants to pay him, including the Chiefs. He's good, but last year was a fluke and he's not going to be that good from now. He's in his career decline and he wants too much money.

I hope he goes the the Seahawks. They really need him. Hopefully when his price comes down a notch they'll snatch him up.
