t-shirt was named like that because it was shaped like letter "T". it doesn't have any other meaning. so don't get confused.

Never thought of that. Anyway i think is to stand for the shape. A T-shirt makes a T shape.

It doesn't stand for anything. It gets the name from the actual shirt part and when you lie it out, it makes the letter 'T' with the short sleeves

It's shaped as the letter T. but sometimes they are called "Tee" and I don't really know why.

I think its to do with the shape but I like to think the T is for Tamborine, I like tamborines, or tomatoes
