i have read many sites saying that in order to make ur own scented soap you can melt in the microwave glygerine soap and then add the paerfume you want BUT i cant melt it!!it burns immediately without first melting!

ok..I have melted my own soap..on the stove top.. if you have an old pan use ivory or a dove bar...grate the soap..use 2-4 cups of water melt on low heat..mix and keep an eye on it do not let it boil. when it disolves.. remove from heat... fragrence oil is extremly flamable... pour into container and let a few drops in the container... less is more you can always add one or two drops if needed..when it cures the scent increases.

I do not know anything about glycerine soap
nor have I made molded soap..hope this helps..

Stove top is the way to go, but take a soda can and cut the top off. Then put it in a pot with about three inches of water in it. Put the soap in the can and heat the water. This home made double boiler will keep you from burning the soap.
