I like the old animation, it had better story lines and characters, plus its the one I watched as a kid. :)

The comics! It's where all the stories that got thrown into both animations, the movies, and other media was developed and written and drawn!
There's quite a deep well of information and action and drama and adventure and character development in the various X-men titles that it's hard to say if there's any basis for the cartoons and the movies that WASN'T in any of the X-cellent comic books!
I especially loved Claremont's original run on the X-men.

I became interested in X-Men by watching the old animated series that they used to play on Fox...
That's how I figured out what the X-3 movie was about...haha...

I have to agree with you on this one, I do like the old animation better too. I grew up with it and I think it's better drawn, and it's more like the comix. But I like the new animation too, just not as much as the old one, and I like the movies and comics as well.

the old animation! so do you know about the whole Shion thing and whether or not the Phoenix killed the prof and Scott? b/c i remember she sent them to some other crazy place with a pteradactyl guy and stuff....
