The Season Finale for Season 5 did bother me. Smallville's endings are usually so huge and leave you like all hyped up (if you like the show enough). But this finale was a little too disappointing, there aren't really any cliffhangers where I don't know the outcome. I mean Clark has to come back and I doubt Lois is going to die. The only thing I'm wondering about is the Lex/Lana/End of the World situation and even that isn't thrilling enough to send me raving about the finale like I usually do. I think it's the fact that they kept building their finales, and this one just doesn't compare. I remember when people were speculating about whether or not Alison Mack would come back as Chloe and the Season 4 finale with the second meteor shower was just classic.

This was just a let down in all respects, I'm sure most hardcore Smallville fans would agree. (Unless they are madly into the whole General Zod story platform).

Hey, give the writers a break they wanted to keep the story for the next season. Let's hope they have come up with some good stories for the next season. The show is starting to go downhill.

I didnt think it sucked since chloe and clark got to kiss, but i think they did better on other season finale endings. I hope season 6 is a good season though, i thought season 5 was good.
