As much as everyone would like Brazil to win they aren't gonna. Simply because of the fact that they have been struggling lately, in the qualifying round they lost 3 of their 4 matches. They might have the world's most talented team but if they dont pull it together you can see France or Argentina stealing the Fifa world cup this year.

Well personally I think Brazil's chances are astronomous! They have a lot of brilliant professionals, they have the experience and they have the talents!!!
Besides the way they play is not only based on dazzling teamwork but also fantastic fast played attacks!
In short, brazil are very likely to win the cup of 2006, but they do have some competition, including Germany who have the home advantage...and lets not forget...football can be unpredictable!

I think that it is too early in the game to know if they are up for the cup this year, since Germany has excellent players, and I was very impressed how Sweden played in the 1st half of their first game. Also we still need to see how Italy is going to play, but Brazil like always has an unbelievable team, so they have a good chance like always of winning.

They're a very good side blessed with great talent but history favours teams from Europe to do well in World Cups held on their continent so England, Germany and Spain should be very very tough.Brazil's always my fancy but this year, of the South American powerhouses, I think Argentina is the team to watch.My prediction is Argentina to play either Brazil/Spain/England in the final and to win it!!!

Brazils chance is, i would say 65%. I say this because it is *possible* that in the 2nd round, the last 16, they get drawn up with the Azzurri(Italy) which would be a tense match. Also it is possible that someone surprising might happen, that's why i say 65% ;)
