I'm not sure if what you said is true but I do know that Abercrombie & Fitch had many t-shirts pulled because they were being racist against Asians but that doesn't stop Asian people from buying their garbage. People are just ignorant and uneducated.
I have not stepped foot NEAR an Abercrombie & Fitch let alone in since I heard that. I look down upon the Asian people who wear their clothes <___<

Slavery is in the past and Republican Abe Lincoln freed the slaves. There are some bright black republicans out there that have a good message for all. Some democrats in the past were among the worst being against seregation like Wallace, Richard Russell, and Lester Maddox to name a few yet the Republicans get the bad rep. Doesn't make much sense to me. And has anyone heard of that Senaor from West Virginia that was a high ranking member in the KKK in his past?

Actually, it was not the Republicans (Lincoln was a Republican). Not that it necessarily applies to modern day, but if you look back through history, it was the Southern Democrats that tried to block Civil Rights legislation and republicnas how joined with President Johnson to get the bills passed if I'm not mistaken. But there's enough guilt on an individual level to go around. For example, on the Democrat side you have Senator Byrd who ia a former member of the Ku Klux Klan. On the Republicn side you have that guy Duke who was also in the Klan... then again.. at least the Republicans never elected Duke to anything; Byrd is a United States Senator.

Actually, it was the Southern Democrats who were fighting to preserve slavery. They were deeply opposed to the election of Abraham Lincoln, a Republican. In fact, the South seceded because Lincoln was elected. The Republican party of that time came to be dominated by what were called the Radical Republicans, who were even more vehemently dedicated to the cause of eliminating slavery than was the more moderate President Lincoln.
In the more recent struggles for the attainment of civil rights for African Americans, vehement opposition came from Southern Democrats and much of the support came from Republicans.
The mystery to me, given all this history, is why there are not more African American Republicans.

I'd have to check the history books to see which politically party wanted to keep slavery intact an which didn't back in Perhaps Southern Republican leaders felt that way,
Although, Lincoln himself was a republican and the Southern secession was triggered by his election because southern regional leaders feared that he would make good on his promise to stop the expansion of slavery and would put it on a course toward extinction.
Before 1860, almost all the Presidents were either southern plantation owners or conservative, pro-slavery northern "dough faces." Lincoln was the first clearly Northern President in many years.

I guess your brainwashed too! We're ALL slaves now color has nothing to do with it anymore. We're the slaves of our Gov. You can't own anything. Not even a house. Just try and not pay the BS tax on the house and it belongs to the GOV. Alaska pays thier residents. 2 other nations pay their cictzens. Our gov has known this for 30 years. But instead of doing any real work they BS us with smoke and mirrors that taxes are needed. If 3 other govs can pay and not tax then the gov lied and screwed us for the tax money. It' s easier to tax than to work for the money like the 3 other govs do. Wees owns nut'n wees pays cus Masser says wees does den wees slaves! Until we rise up and vote out ALL the DEMS and REPS and bring in whole new management team with NO DEMS or REPS wees sta'n slaves!

for the same reason that chuck schumer and Hillary are for gun controll,,people seem to forget yesteryear even when members of their familys where drug out of their homes in the middle of the night and sent to concertration camps..I hate when the polititions speak of out founding fathers and if their very words where repeated you would be called a dangerous person and a menace to out society. the democractic party is not the same party it was 50 years ago and who loses ,,,the american labor does,,still in all this is the best county to live in and slavery still does exist people are slaves to drugs and the weak minded,,you don't need chains to enslave people just a good bs line and false promises from both parties these people love impovished svaves ,,what they give today thet take away tommorow,,,remember nafta

everyone wanted slaves...If they werent slaves. All forms of slavery is economical. You dont have that much overhead cost if someone is working for free and with the Racial seperation. It was easier to spot a "BLACK" African slave then to enslave your own people. Because it's easier to distinguish who is a slave and who isnt. So any one who profited off slavery including some blacks would'nt want it abolished. I hope I gave some insight.
