Is there any other way to get rid of the tab than using toolbar options???

Also in Friefox, be in the tab you wish to delete and click on the little white x in a reddish orange background (your monitor's colors may vary).

What tab? Are you talking about something like Mozilla Firefox? If so, be in the tab and hit 'ctrl' and 'F4'.
