practice intervals (ie: 1,3,2,4,3,5 where 1 = C , 2 = D, 3 = E, etc.) Sing and hold the same note while singing the vowels sounds (AAAAAA EEEEEEE IIIIII OOOOO UUUUUU), sing an octave going up or down in single not increments that will lead you to either your highest note or lowest note in your voice range. Good luck

They call it the "Rollercoaster". Start with the lowest note in the lowest octave that you can acheive comfortably, and evenly raise the pitch to the highest note in the highest octave that you can achieve comfortably. After doing this a few times to warm up, then you pick a note lower and higher and work towards it. Do this two or three times a week and over time your vocal chords "a pair of muscles in your throat" will strengthen and grow more responsive. You will notice the difference in about a month.
