Im on my 16weeks and im recently having cramps on my leg..
Is that normal? or I am lacking something? does it has an effect on my baby?

Yes, it is normal. I am five weeks pregnant and get those cramps usually when I am asleep. This is my second pregnancy and I would also get those with my first pregnancy.

Whenever this happens just try to stay still or try streching your leg. If you try to massage it, it won't help much. Congrats.

It could be sciatica or lack of potassium it could also be a sign of dehydration.Eat more Bananas or other foods high in potassium drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest laying on your left side with your feet elevated will help with cramping from sciatica

usually when you get cramps in you legs you are lacking potassium, so eat some bananas. and when you get cramps in you legs don't massage it out it will make it worse you should flex you foot back and forth until the cramp goes away. I got them often when i was pregnant and sleeping.

yes that`s normal..i was like that when i was in my 16 weeks too![now im 32 weeks]..that`s because of ur weight gained and when ur pregnant,theres always like that lol!
u can take a slow walk to prevent/minimize the pain..u can also hang up ur legs while ur taking a nap!

It could be siactica. I had it really bad with my first child. Make sure you are resting and try to avoid high heels. Also, make sure you are getting enough liquids, it could be a muscle cramp due to dehydration.

That's normal. As the ladies before me said, I could be a sign of dehydration, so drink lots of water!

They are called charlie horses and they are normal in pregnancy. I heard if you take calcium supplements it helps.
