Hello. The best thing I do when I have a bad cold is not to stay in home cos moping makes it worse and last longer. Drink a fruit smoothie to get your Vitamin C level up and before bed have either brandy or whisky made with hot water which will definitely stop your nose dripping and help you to sleep better. With the sore throat just make sure you have plenty of fluids to drink x

If you have cough and cold coupled with sorethroat and fever, please see a doctor immediately. Drink some honey mixed with lemon juice(from the raw fruit, not the commercial sugar added juice) with warm water may help the cough by soothing the throat. To get rid of cold, try swallowing garlic pills while you drink the mentioned drink I recommended. If you have a lot of phlem while coughing, antyihistimine can help rid of it. But try get the non-drowsy type, otherwise you will doze off while working.
