Being pregnant will mess up your abs. The muscles pull apart from each other (diastasis) to make room for the big belly.

During a c-section, the OB needs to cut through the muscles. The incision is usually very low, so when everything is put back together, the muscles should be back in their normal place.

If your abs are in good shape now, careful exercise AFTER your OB gives the green light should get them back into shape. If you try too much too early, you could have things come apart. It takes 6 weeks for your tissues to heal after surgery.

Well my dear, I'm sorry to say that it's likely the ab muscles will never look the same, cesarean or vaginal birth. The skin gets stretched so much (for most women anyway) so you've got a) stretch marks and then after the birth your stomach shrinks back so much there is lots of sagging skin.

Cesarean severs the abdominal muscles. It takes a lot to get them back into shape, and mine were sore for months postpartum. almost 10 months later they still look nothing like they used to, and to be hoenst, I dont know how they ever can because teh skin is so much now.

No, it just takes longer for your ab muscles to get back into shape than if you had a normal delivery, since the muscles are cut in c-sections and you aren't supposed to do exercises for 3 months or more.
