Great question! Yes, i believe it is. To have true unconditional love is to have no expectations of the other person. I've found this to be quite possible(in some rare cases!). When you're not looking to get something from someone else and you drop all labels, images, and ideas of the other person and how they should be, you just want to share what you have with no expectations of getting anything in return, that is when unconditional love blooms. Real love isn't biological and doesn't come and go and turn into hate etc. All it wants to do is share and grow. The sun shines on all---sinner and saint alike. As for whether or not unconditional love is possible on a planetary scale with the masses, it doesn't look too probable! Things actually look bleak for humankind and life on this planet.

No.
Love is always conditioned on something.
For example if a person you love proceeds to kick you in the head, cut of your left arm and right leg, and then cheat on you with 5 people right on top of your bleeding body -- your love would be pretty much over, no matter how strongly you loved the person before
.
So the condition for the person you love not to do such a thing ALWAYS exists, so no there is no UNCONDITIONAL love.

Is unconditional love possible? I think it's basic, and we just hide from that so we may cope under alien technological forces.
"At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love. It is impossible to think of a genuine revolutionary lacking this quality."

Best example: your children.
Unconditional love can happen when the ego is not involved.
Romantic love makes this difficult but if you can get past all that then you can have unconditional love.

No.There isnt anything as unconditional love for humans. We love our kins and family because of biological oneness and blood relations. We love others if we think our egos are enhanced and we are secure. One cant love a man hitting an insulting his woman or vice versa.

I think it's possible for some humans, but not others. I think that some people can continue to love others, no matter what they do. However, I think that other people refuse to love someone unless that person can fulfill their expectations, and give them something in return.

Yes, but it takes work, you have to love yourself unconditionally first.
It is difficult if you believe in right and wrong, because we judge what we see is wrong (like murder and stuff). Even murder being wrong is just a judgement. In the U.S. we judge it right to kill in war (even babies are collateral damage), and wrong when it is your Mom. Bottom line, there is no right or wrong. Humans assign value based on their beliefs.
