When doing the census of the time what was the correct name and spelling recorded?

probably Yeshua, like joshua, the J sound was not in use among the hebrews.

Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus the son of Joseph, Jesus the Messiah, Jesus the Son of God, Jesus the Son of Man, Emmanuel, "God with us," Jesus the Lamb of God, Jesus the King of the Jews, Jesus, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings, Jesus the Word of God, Yeshua bin Joseph, Yeshua bin El. Jesus, the Christ or Messiah which means the anointed one, Jesus Christ the Savior.

I'm sure there are many more descriptive names for Jesus that's not mentioned in my list. But the most important thing is that, there is no other name given whereby men can be delivered from their sins, and have hope for life eternal but by the name of, Jesus.
