Well, it depends. BearShare has a lot more options in choosing songs, and you can find more songs, but there is a possibility of a virus and popups and such. Limewire is by far the safest, so that's what I use.

I used to use Kazaa but I kept getting some pretty nasty viruses and spyware and other nastys. Since then if I use one of the share sites my parents try to kill me. I actually found that dogpile.com has an audio search (that is awesome!!!!) and it just searches the web for songs. and there is a very large web out there with tons of songs. It might not have as much as a share site but it has the majority of the stuff you search for.

It's FREE ,but use an adware removal to get rid of a WHENU package they sneak in,otherwise it's a good program.
