Uh, no. I don't think you're ever too old to have a roommate. It's a financial thing, usually, and who wants to be alone ALL the time? Especially if you have a friend that you can split costs with and hang out with?

At 28 yes, you can own a house and have a roommate, just to help you financially, but to rent an apt with a roommate is out of the question, the time as come for some growing up.
