Use 100% acetone nail polish remover (Wal-mart) or paint thinner (Hardware Store) or gasoline (Gas Station).

If you have a stainless steel sink, you can try a number of things.
SpicAndSpan, then scrub with Aluminum foil.

Have you tried "BarKeepers Friend"? That gets out a lot of stains for me.

ive gotten permanet marker on mine a ton- just scrub at it with fingernail polish remover, bleach, or a hard soap untill it fades. it may take a long time!
