How can I flash my SLVR L7? What program do I need? I always get an error message.?

If you want to flash your L7, you need the flash file, which carries an extension compatible with the program you'll use, which is called RSD Lite.

Before you do any of that, you're going to need to have all the P2K stuff installed. It's too long to type out here, so head to www.motomodders.net, and go to the SLVR L7 section, and read the stuff you find there.
