Do you guys have any suggestions on really good books? Im 13 years old, so not to technical and stuff. I like to read about fiction, funny books, and also sad books. Please if you could write more than one. For example I liked the series of unfortunate events. So please write any really good books you heard about or just recently read. It would mean a lot! THNX!

1. Catcher in the Rye: J.D. Salinger
2. The Narnia Series (particularly "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe): C.S. Lewis
3.To Kill a Mockingbird.
4. Lives of Girls and Women: Alice Munroe
5. Animal Farm: George Orwell
6. The Bluest Eye: Toni Morrison

Happy Reading!

Oh, and, also, I think you might really enjoy "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" by Mark Haddon!

I'm 13 too. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series is hilarious! Alex Rider series are real page turners, Harry Potter series is amazing, Eragon and Eldest books are good, the Bartimaeus Trilogy is funny. Eoin Colfer is a good author too. The Pendragon series is really good as well. Hope I've been some help! Enjoy reading them!

Have you read "A Million Little Pieces" yet? (aka the scandalous Oprah book?) I don't care what any one else says about it, it is so wonderful, maybe not the most appropriate book for a 13 year old, but it's really good. I don't read all that much, but that one was great.

Oh and all the Harry Potters, if you haven't already. I love Harry Potter.

Try reading "The Blue Road to Atlantis" by Jay Nussbaum. This is the story of "The Old man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway told from the perspective of the fish. This is a highly original idea, and it is not too "adult" for you.
