With the constant attacks on the president and a call for the end to our support in Iraq I have to wonder...do those attacking the president and calling for an end to the war ever think what life would be like under al queda rule? Who do you think would survive longer under al queda a liberal or a conservative? I think the conservatives would; and so it makes me wonder why the liberals wouldn't want them defeated?

If Liberals were in charge with 911 I would think that they would be smart enough to just go after the cells in all the al queda countries not just a country that has little al queda or Iraqi es that want us out that we call al queda taking most our resources into one country while maybe in a barn in Canada a guy that called himself al queda is filling his 5th wheeler right now. I don`t think Liberals or Conservatives would let al queda harm America but to answer the question the Conservatives would last longer because the Liberal would be to busy tring to help everybody else first.

Why do people equate being angry at Bush for waging an illegal war with illegal tactics (torutre is banned by US law and international treaties that the US signed; the Constitution says that a signed and ratified treaty is the 'law of the land' and binding for the US), as meaning we don't love America or want to let the terrorists win.

How can you not understand that what we created in Iraq has lead to a MASSIVE upswing in terrorism? Iraq is NOW one of the world's largest training camp providers for terrorists. Before we invaded, Iraq was against Al Qaida, because Saddam was of the opposite sect of Islam than Bin Laden?!

For f's sakes, people need to get educated about the larger issues and not regurgitate what you hear on Fox News.

yes I believe the conservatives would survie longer under al queda....there form of government is very similiar...just a different religion...otherwise very similir to the muslim political rule....understand that liberal do not want the conservative or al queda rule we believe in a thing that no longer completely exist that is the constitution and freedom to believe as you see fit without having a relligion or government making your choices or spying on you...the constitution of the United State was very important to our founding fathers they believed a government left unchecked would take control of its people. much as is begining to happen here in the good ol USA...now we believe in such things as due process and court systems that keep the government from willy nilly kicking in door and toteing off those who tink different...were opposed to imprisonment without due process and tapping the phones of law abideing citizens without a warrant....this war against al quida that you speak of....is al quida a country? Is it iraq? No it is some terrorist orginization. We are no longer at war with Iraq....do you fear that the government of the United states is going to be overthrown by Al Queda? of course not. I have more fear of our country becoming its own Christian form of a Islamic state than I do of Al Quida taking over our government....sure defeat them all you want just leave the constitution strong and stop trampling over the civil liberties of the people of the United States to stop terrorism....we are becomeing more terrorized and so is the world by the actions of the current administration than we are by terrorist. Is iraq safer today than it was before this war? No the people there live in constant fear .....Is America better off? No our civil liberties are taking a beating....Is our image around the world better...hell no they see us as terrorist....lets cut the ****... this isnt a war on terror that is keeping America free.....We are violating human rights and we are violating civil liberties fighting what ?

You are massively over simplistic. The foreign policy of the US over the last couple of decades is largely to blame for terrorism in the first place. The US policy of going against the UN and pre-emptive strikes on soveriegn nations is not helping matters either. This is why the greater majority of the World is against the illegal occupation of Iraq and why the international reputation of the US is at an all time low. Jules, lecturer. Australia.

Do conservatives ever imagine life under a democracy. Al Quaeda is not a threat to the West. It's a scapegoat, that helps to divert attention from the quagmire which is Iraq.
