How long does it take to accumulate tens of thousands of points on this site?

Question

I come on this site just for fun, once in awhile. But it seems there are others who breathe this site (which is ok if that's what you want to do).

Is there a prize? Or is the fulfillment of answering questions all day the prize?

I'm just curious.

I've never spent so much time on the internet until I found Yahoo Answers. I like that we get to share our opinions, etc, but I prefer this format to a regular chat type site, I think it's more interesting and it keeps people doing to much back-and-forth juvenille jerk stuff that you find on most chat sites.

I think the points are pointless, though my boyfriend and I like to act like we're competing to be better than each other, even though there isn't a point to it.

I've been here for a few weeks, it's more fun than TV!

It takes about 6 months, dedication, and lots of nothing to do better time. I had a broken foot and had nothing better to do for awhile, now I just come here for fun. I asked also and points don't win you anything, you would think you could trade points for a coffee cup or at least a free dorky t-shirt with Yahoo printed on it but it is not the case.
