Cingular and T-Mobile offer GSM service. I recommend you to check with your local company about roaming in the USA. Some companies may not offer the service.

Cingular is your best GSM provider in the US.

Try any of the major providers. But when you BRING YOUR OWN phone, there may be features that the provider can't support.
Cingular, T-Mobile, Verison.....

i am not familiar with any - however if your visiting the US there are several "throw away" phones you could purchase for your visit. they are prepaid phones that you buy special calling cards to recharge them.
