I've never been pregnant but i had cravings when my wife was(twice, boy+girl) I craved a good nights sleep, although this was mainly in the latter stages, i craved my wifes indigestion not to get any worse, i craved the births so i didn't have to paint toe nails (badly) anymore and of course i craved ***, typical male i'm afraid.
My wifes cravings were identical for both, fried battered fish and beetroot butties, she drank gaviscon by the bottle, i can't think why she had indigestion so bad!!

I had the same kind of craving , anything chalky. I also craved popcicles that had to be eaten with a can of potted meat (i know YULK!!). I had to have a cup of crushed ice at all times too .The Doctor said that was because of an iron deficency.

In my first pregnancy it was anything cold and fresh - especially cold melon straight from the fridge.

In my second it was cheese with digestive biscuits and broccoli - not together though. I couldn't stand the smell of oranges and would be sick if anyone peeled an orange near me. Yuck!!!
