I don't know why because I rarely drink sugary drinks and I always drink a lot of water each day. I haven't changed my diet or taken any medicines or vitamins.Its a very strong strong smell that I've never encountered before.I'm worried it might be diabetes or something.But when I checked the web for symptoms of diabetes I could only fit one and that is fatigue but I work 80 plus hours a week I assume I'm tired from the work.I'm thirsty but no more than usual. So could anyone tell me something about this . Do you have the same problem?

Could be a bladder or kidney infection and of course you should see your doctor. Be sure to continue drinking ALOT of water and add cranberry juice too, until you are able to get into the doctors.

Have you eaten asparagus? Sometimes the chemical reaction of that vegitable has a weird reaction in some that changes the smell of urine, but only for a day or two.

I think you need to see a urologist. If there is no blood or foam or discoloration, that is good. You might have a bladder infection, although usually that is accompanied by some discomfort too.

your kidneys are not working properly or they need a good cleaning.
try drinking about 12 oz's of cranberry juice a day, 2 6oz servings.
there are a couple herbs that can help;
rehmannia
schisandra
make a decoction of either, drink about 1/2-3/4 cups 3 times a day.

dandelion root decoction will cleanse the kidneys. 3/4 cup twice a day for a couple days, also is diuretic.
Warning schisandra will increase sex drive.

Only factor I can suppose of is Asparagus. I recognize, for a truth, that while you consume Asparagus your urine smells unhealthy! Are you taking any new forms of nutrients? Some nutrients (eg. Pre-natal) will make your urine very darkish yellow and likewise odor. Good good fortune!
