How do I validate that my Disney tickets are good before I get to the park

You can't validate whether your tickets are good or not before entering the parks. You'll know when you try to use them.

It depends where you bought the tickets. If you bought the tickets from either Disney or your travel agent, there should be no problems. If you have older tickets that have days left, again you should have no problems. If they were purchased more recently and you didn't add on the no expiration option, they will likely be expired now. If you bought them online using a site like eBay or something, they could be expired or a used, non-transferrable ticket.
Other than that, you would need to speek with guest services to check if they are valid.
