My family is going to be on holiday in Athens for Englands game on 24th June (and also for 1st July match) Can anyone advise on a good safe place to watch the matches, as my 8 year old brother will be with them (so no smokey pubs please.)

Thereare outdoor cafes outside the Acropolis & the Parthenon, where there will be screens set up to watch the World Cup. Your brother can run around and you can watch the game.

There is no city in the world that does not have an Irish bar.
Find it, and you will find the football on the telly, and a good crowd of ex-pats watching / heckling
