If you have a right triangle, and you know one angle and side, you can do this:

Opposite = sin(A) x hypotenuse (longest side)
Adjacent = cos(A) x hypotenuse
Hypotenuse = opposite (from hyp.) / tan(A)

Sin = O/H
Cos = A/H
Tan = O/A

Opposite and Adjacent are in relation to the side you're trying to find.
