my e-mail address is too hard for people to spell so i wanted to change it to something that woulld be easier to remember. i just don't want to set up a new account. is that possible?

Yes, yahoo is offering an extra email account which will work together with your curretnt account.
Login to your cuurent yahoo account. On top right click on 'what's new'. Then once the new page comes up click on the link which prompts you to get a new email ID.

I don't think so, but why is starting a new account so bed...you can email anything you want to keep to the new account and still have it all. Best wishes

yes. yahoo mail allows you to ADD new account and link it to your existing email. you will actually get ONE mail box, with two different email address. the new service allows you to add dot between two words. for example: abc.abc@yahoo.com

alternatively, you can create a completely new email account, and LINK the email to your exiting one.

It should be able to be done. But if not then just make a new account, it's not that big a deal.

EDIT YOUR PROFILE, ADD THE NEW ADDRESS AND THEN SET IT AS DEFAULT
