My 14 yr old freind was proposed by her mother's friend who is 46!!!!!She says the guy is crazy about her and wants to marry her as soon as she is ready!
she is pretty sure he is not kidding around, because he is risking 25 years of friendship with her mother and also his social reputation!
she totally trusts him because he has not misbehaved with her even when they were alone together in a room with the door locked...
If her mother knows abt how her friend feels abt her daughter, she would literally kill him..
she still talks to him and also calls him pretty often.
she also told me she is worried if she might feel attracted to him.
Thou my friend is only 14, she looks 27...
this guy loves her for all she has...her face, her figure, her heart, her all.......she was totally shocked by somethings he said but she still likes him as a person and hopes that they can still be freinds..
he is a pretty nice man with a gud social reputation....so we are not sure abt what exactly he is thinking!

You believe it or not , there will be a compatibility issue . This guy has lot of fallen relationship and i wonder wether he still has failth in long term relationship. Apart from that your friend is too young to understans what a 40+ guy looks for in life .Its two different world with different realities . I am not sure how this will work out , so advice to ignore his feeling , if needed talk to her mother about this .Reast is upto your friend to understand and decide coz its her life afterall.

Whoa, tricky situation. Sounds like it needs to be resolved before the mother finds out.
My suggestion to your friend is to tell the guy that there can't be a relationship between them. 14 is REALLY young to be getting into a serious relationship with another person and I think the guy should understand and respect that. It's fine if they like each other & still remain friends, the important thing is that it stays at 'friends' until your friend is old enough (say 21) to make that kind of decision. And if they still feel the same way then, it should be ok as long as her mother knows. Hopefully by then she will be able to respect her daughter's decision and refrain from killing the guy!
- my advice: keep it on hold for now & make sure the mother doesn't find out until the decision is final

With such a huge age difference, this guy is being totally inappropriate. It's not fair of him to put your friend in such an akward position. If her Mom would kill him if she knew, then there is a good reason for her feeling that way. It is not natural for a man to like a teenager, and he really needs help with this problem. Please tell an adult that you can trust! The girls mother would be good, or if your comfortable maybe you should talk to your own parents.
Good Luck with this, I will be thinking about the both of you

. She should tell her mother as soon as possible. There is something wrong with this picture. I am going with a lady who has 2 girls that were 7 and 10 when I started going with there mom. I treated these girls as the were my own. I watched then grow up and supported them in what ever choices they made in life. I never made advances toward them or inapproate behavior. These girls are now in there mid 20's and look at me as the Dad they never had. This Guy sounds like he is trying to take advantage of a minor child. He might be charming and all, but he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Beware and run and report this before things go very wrong.

This man is a most likely a child molester. If you are a friend of this girl you will tell her mother. A 46 year old man should not be looking to marry 14 year old girls. He may be behaving now, but he is not well and will act out his illnesses.

She needs to stay away from him, find someone her own age. when she turns 18 and they both still have feelings for each other it will be different but right now, don't take a chance of ruining not only her life but the guys too. if she cares about him at all she needs to tell him to back off. he could lose everything. I don't think it would be worth it for either of them. tell her to wait till she is 18. and for now just don't be alone with him and get a boy friend her own age.

You as a friend she tell your friends mother so that this Chester don't get the chance to molest your friend. The man is sick to think like that about a 14 year old child he has a problem and the only way to save your friend from this sick M.F. is to turn his sorry a$$ in or put a bullet right between his eyes!

He has a serious problem and needs help! She is his friend's daughter for one and that's just wrong! Next thing is she is a minor and he sounds like a perv. that is obcessed with young girls and the forbidden fruit. Chances are if he does get with this girl, he will dump her when she has lost the innocence he is attracted to.
She should tell her mom what is going on before all partys are hurt by this.

Realistically, he is breaking the law. Fraternizing with a minor. Or something like that. If your friend really loves him then there is nothing you can do. But as her friend, you might what to find out EXACTLY what his intentions are. For your friends safety anyway. I don't know...something about this just doesn't seem right.
